Can't swear to the tail thing, second hand info. The ears not being cut precludes showing because of what Dagney was saying about the AKC. The owner of the bitch didn't want to sell to anyone except for a pet. Doesn't believe in ear cutting and feels show dogs spend to much time caged. With show puppies of this breed going from $1800 up to $2600 or more for a blue like this, that's a pretty noble stand. He sold this pup for $400 because he believed the people that bought it felt the same way he does.
