Well, I expect it had to cut off about half of Delaware.
Most outages take about a half-hour to resolve - a router gets stuck and somebody has to reboot it, or something dies and has to be replaced with a spare. Seven hours means either somebody really screwed the pooch on a Monday-morning configuration change, without backups ready, or they had something die and didn't have a spare. |
