Thanks foot! Pretty simple. You just cut to the traced line.

With my crappy old Black and Decker saber saw, when I cut a curve in stock that thick, the cut doesn't stay square to the surface of the board. The blade flexes toward the outside of the curve. I'm probably doing something wrong like using a blade that's too dull, or pushing on the saw too hard. It works great in thin stock though.
