Thanks for the mad props, all y'all. UT, I'll come up with a ball park estimate for you.
Glatt, here is how I do the tails. The second part is to lay the pattern on your rafter stock, trace and cut. The plumb cuts are made with the circ saw, the scroll is done with the jig saw. Always be sure to find the crown of your rafters and put that up. Crown is the natural curve of the board.
