its more like 5 for gold. 2 for silver, i for bronze.
there's no conselation prize in other sports...
world series, superbowl, stanley cup.
the losers were just not good enough....they weren't the best.

These are also not professional sports and the competitors are representing their countries instead of some uber-rich company or corporation.

I think winning any medal is pretty exceptional. I think calling any of these athletes losers says a lot about you whip.

All of the athletes are giving their best and their efforts are rewarded and celebrated. How dismal the games would be if only gold medals were given.

If the silver medal winners are losers then the bronze medal is redundant. What is that? The runner up loser? oh and here's a cash prize too for losing so badly. ( sarcasm )

I have a very good friend in Canada. I am happy to see his home pride. The kind of person he is makes me happy for him to see his gloaty face.

I just made the gross over generalization thinking all Canadians must be uber cool. damn whip
