Ohno! Love that short track speed skating! The womens' mogul event was cool as well.

Less positive observations: They pretend they're journalists with repeated showings of the luge death, but I have not see coverage of the the anti-olympics protests.

The Opening Ceremony was cool, missed the torch lighting because I had to deal with a nut. Put up with the whole parade of nations and the speeches, missed the good bit.

Was wondering why women (and men) not wearing jingle dresses were dancing in that style, but then I remember that Native or not, they were all Canadian.

Aw crap, I missed that? The Nordic skiing and shooting is one of my favorites.

I'm hoping the Canadians do well.

US ice dancers, Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto, train less than two miles from my house, and had a hell of a time getting to the games because of the snow.

The story that surprised me most was the three athletes from India had no uniforms.

if I ever met a figure skating judge.....man or woman....I would strike them.

Exactly. Anybody who has ever done cross country skiing knows how your heart is freaking pounding out of your chest, and then to stop and quickly relax to focus on taking a shot is incredible. It I tried it, I'd be shooting the cameramen behind me, I'd be so wild.
