This arrived for me on Wednesday. I apologize for not posting sooner, but I've been ill, etc.

This mug features art by our very own Case, in particular a painting called "progress." However, she tells me she is in fact not the sender.

Be a shame to waste it on coffee/tea. Scotch or Bourbon, maybe.

Have been without a laptop for a while, so just signing in quickly to say my present arrived, and was opened yesterday (didn't want to take on public transport as my bag was heavy enough!)

Took pics all through the opening process and will post when back home. I received:
A really funky snowman ornament with blue sparkly glitter on it - I wish I'd opened it earlier when I saw it because it's so "me", it's on the tree now and will be every year from here on in. And two beautiful soaps which made the whole box smell gorgeous. And the handwritten message in the card made my eyes go a little blurry - it was so very kind.

Thank you my secret Santa, and no - I don't know who you are! Except that I don't think you have your location under your name on here, as the postmark was Tennessee (spelling?) and I don't remember seeing any Dwellar having that. Apologies if you have it up there bold as brass and I've just missed it!

I am jealous of the mug (as an addition to my present, not as a replacement I mean)

Then again I contemplated asking Case for a lay-away scheme (ie sending a few quid each month until I own it) for the picture with the hair. I don't have the $ but I do have a craving for beautiful and original art.

Mine was Lookout. Thank you, dear. I am considering putting together a "Fact or Crap" thread based on the desk calendar I received so we can ALL play the game.

Thank you for the compliments on the painting on the mug. (Yes, they can be ordered from somewhere...if anyone is interested, please pm me.) I am sure Steve's SS will be pleased to know that the gift is appreciated! Steve's SS, who are you???

I received my gift the 7th. Knew by shaking wasn't a jug of Knob Creek.
Opened tonight and first thought it was a LP album, because of size. But it was a LOL calender. Best, well only, laugh I've had today. Great! Thanks SS. Dats some weired birds. bb
