I am inclined to believe you, but I say: "
prove it!" I can not personally find solid evidence to show one side over the other (parody/truth.)
This web page includes a mention of a hoax as well as
this web page, but they are both inconclusive. I am not up in arms about the issue, it is just that the authors have done a very good job of not letting the cat out of the bag.
