A curious relationship between bin Laden, the Afghanistan government, and the US. It was US support (Red Eye missiles) that turned the tide against the Red Army invasion. The Taliban remember this. However they also received great support from bin Laden and they also remember him for that support. But they are not comfortable with bin Laden. For example, when bin Laden setup an interview with an ABC News reporter, that reporter had to be smuggled into Afghanistan bypassing Afghan army checkpoints because the Taliban would not approve of bin Ladens political commentary and the attention he creates.
For Afghanistan, it has been a love / hate relationship - albeit degenerating over the past 10 years. For those who only listen to Action News, Afghanistan is only an enemy. It is not that simple. Using simple logic, then all Israelis are enemies of the US because its current government is so racist - so violates human rights - has created war, massacres, international instability, and almost world destruction - a nuclear war.
If the American Israeli relation is currently love / hate, then the American Afghan relationship is hate / love. It is just that Afghanistan has a greater and increasing percentage of religious extremists compared to Israel that makes those relationships so different.
Where in these relationships can you create enough emotional hatred to use profanity? Only if your news sources are Action News meaning that all this is unknown to you.
