When I lived in Germany for a year in the 80s we would buy that milk. Not much choice. There was the unpasteurized fresh milk that spoiled in two days and tasted funny or there was this stuff that lasted 2 years but tasted funny. I missed our US milk that would last for a week before spoiling.

It's never really caught on here in the US. It would be nice to have a liter or two kicking around for those milk emergencies, even if it does taste a little funny.
