Errata on the "Jill Leaving" Incident.
I often don't bother responding to demonstrably false statements, but in this case, since the intent was slanderous, I have a few clarifications.
Quote:
#1: In the "House Resolution" thread, I was accused of questioning Jill's knowledge of and ability to interpret news. After I explained that this was not the case, I deemed those who chose to continue these accusations as "weak-minded fools" and "sloppy thinkers." I maintain this position. #2: In the "Hand Wringing" thread, I stated those who favor a moderation solution do not practice an adult thought process. I maintain this position. Note that after Dana's repeated, dogged attempts to mischaracterize who I referred to with the above descriptors, I simply started using them interchangeably in order to comply with her wishes of painting me as a villain, i.e. "Okay, I'm the big bad boogeyman--so what’s your point?" Summary of the topics of discussion: On Jill leaving: People are free to make their own decisions. If you're leaving, leave. On the issues, as described, with the Politics Forum: Don't know, don't care. Leave me out of it. On employing more moderation on the Cellar: Don't want it, don't need it. Adults can handle their own affairs. On responding to personal attacks against myself: If it is hypocritical for me to do so, then I am a hypocrite.
