While it's kind of sad news and interesting in its own right, what really caught my eye was this phrase: "My take is that 1127 probably reached Schiavo status when Rob, Presotto, et al. fled west to Google.".

"Schiavo status" has entered the language.

Wow! That is a great descriptor. Hmmm.. 180,000 US soldiers in Iraq have reached Schiavo status... maybe it's to explosive for casual use.

I don't think there's much explosive about being in Schaivo Status
