Goddammit.
They got me again. Last time, 2 months from paying off my phone, I let it update. Because until you do, you have to postpone it every 12 hours. That gets old. That time, right after the update, I had sim card not found, restart the phone problems until I gave up and got a new phone.
This time, my battery life has dropped in half. And once it's at 15%, you've got seconds. I like this phone. I even bought a new battery thinking mine was just played out. nope. crapeaters.
like, to go back to lolipop or whatever it was?
The display used to be the biggest battery eater. I was down to 30% at 4pm. I used to be at 45 ish at 9pm
First try turning off Bluetooth. (If that works, do you have gasbuddy installed.)
no gasbuddy. Bluetooth only using 3%. It's that 37% OS and 11% android system. The screen is usually 10% and the highest usage. android system was usually 2nd place
People are recommending a factory reset after MM update. Note 4 users like the update OK except for the ones that don't.
Factory resetreset seems to have gotten the OS consumption under control. back to 3%. thanks. now I have to download all my apps again.... and I lost some pictures....
whatevs. would have the same thing if I had gotten a new phone.
Dammit, my battery has been fucked too, thanks for mentioning it was the new OS. I never would have thought of it. And thanks UT for the reset instructions. Ugh, still have to do it though...
Back to normal

Does it just bugger up the note or will it do for my Galaxy S5, too?
I roll with the S5 and it has been fine with Marshmallow, but I did have this bad app (that's why I asked about gasbuddy) that ate battery via bluetooth. I had to uninstall the app.
now I have to download all my apps again....
I downloaded every app I could remember last night, and still my screen is half empty. I should have made a list. On the other hand, they can't have been that important I guess...
If you manage your Android phone via Google account, play.google.com/apps will have all your apps and you can tell it to ship them to your device(s).
My God this place is wonderful.

ALL THE APPS I EVER HAD!
wow. that's neat. thanks T.
This just means I'm destined to drop my phone in the toilet soon.
I've had 3 different fart machine apps over the years
What do you call a teacher who never farts in public?
A private tutor.
I got the Sim card removed, restart error last night.
I will kill a motherfucker
Protect your Iphone. Always sit down on a toilet.
