I put 2 grab bars in my shower. Nice, shiny and slick as whatever. I was wondering how to fix , without wrapping with poly cord. A guy told me about rescue tape. Had a bit of trouble wrapping it due to my eyes. Just right to be wrong for bifocals. 100% better. Not cheap. 10 bucks for 12 feet.
I've seen ads for Rescue Tape. They make it look like magic.
Well I'll be damned, I bought three rolls of that in black, yellow, and clear, but it was labeled as glueless tape. I guess Rescue Tape is a brand.

self-amalgamating tape.
I found black at Harbor freight, 10' by 1" for 3.99 Called self bonding super tape.
Haven't used any yet, so no report.
