iPad shite

Is it just me or has Apple done something (else)stupid? Apart from at this precise moment (oh, no, even nowhere the text runs off the side of the window on occasions), the "keyboard"now completely obscures the text window that you are typing in (in Messenger, on FB, in teh Cellar at least) so that you have to click on the"keyboard down" button to proofread your post. Except I can't proof this, because about a third of it is invisible offtheright hand side of the text window. Time to look for a new tablet, frankly, if this shite isn't fixed soon.


ETA: I cannot edit the bits of this that need editing because I cannot see them in this edit window. Fuck.

Lot of people complaining about latest update to ios. Its killed a few ipads completely by wiping them and shutting them down - supposedly fixable but awkward to do.

My father has an Ipad, I have a Samsung, they both do the same thing. VERY IRRITATING!

I tend to use the Google web page for searches instead of the App.

Since the last update, the keyboard departs after I've typed the first character in the search box.

Type the second character, it reappears and stays put until the search button is pushed.

All very strange.

FWIW, there's an iOS update now available which I've installed this morning although haven't yet had time to see the outcome.

With a bit of luck it might help to dispose of the problems mentioned.
