Lockheed Figures Out Fusion (Maybe)

According to Lockheed, CNET, and this article, Lockheed has figured out the fusion process and has the reactor down to the size of a cargo container!

Is a "Eureka!" moment imminent?

Is there a "Holy Shit!" moment right around the corner?

In fact, the company even said it expects to "design, build and test the [Compact Fusion Reactor]" within the year.

I was planning on this happening in 2050. It WOULD be awesome if it came 30 years early.

Of course! But they'll be bigger than cargo containers.
