Lockheed Figures Out Fusion (Maybe)

According to Lockheed, CNET, and this article, Lockheed has figured out the fusion process and has the reactor down to the size of a cargo container!

Is a "Eureka!" moment imminent?

Is there a "Holy Shit!" moment right around the corner?

In fact, the company even said it expects to "design, build and test the [Compact Fusion Reactor]" within the year.

I hope it's true. I guess we'll see.

I was planning on this happening in 2050. It WOULD be awesome if it came 30 years early.

Can our promised flying cars be far behind?

Of course! But they'll be bigger than cargo containers.

Fusion. The act of replacing a fuse.

Cold Fusion. Fuses are best replaced when a circuit is not hot.
