My old Trac Phone was dying so I got a new one. It is a Motorola WX410. I got it from Consumer Cellular, and it works. I spent the afternoon setting up my contact list and calling people, giving them my new number. So Call Me!!!

I thought about a smart phone. But then realized that I am an old fart and don't need a computer in my pocket.
I got one of those fancy new touch screen phones! None of those antiquated keypads for me.

Years ago when I was pulling "AppleTalk" wiring in the suspended ceilings
of our department to connect all the Apple- II's and Mac-Plus's,
I came to know the new head of "Data Processing" for our university.
He walked around campus always with a phone unit as big, or bigger,
than that one, stuck to his head. The antenna was longer than the phone, itself.
I used to tease him that he walked lop-sided, and he needed to get a Mac.
