For the record, I f***g hate screen protectors

I bought two screen protectors from Ebay for my Archos tablet for about $10. 30 minutes later, one set is in a useless ball and the other is a bubbly scratched mess stretched across the 7 inch screen.

Aaaaaaarrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhh!!!!!:mad2:

Well, i know it will hurt you to hear this, but.....

that's what you get for going the cheap route!

these are one of the things that you should buy the expensive one of. like tires, shoes and helmets.

get this kind $30

zagg:
Military grade patented material engineered for your Apple iPad 2 (Wi-Fi Only)
Unique properties provide self-healing qualities
Helps reduce the appearance of fingerprint smudges and smears
Includes free lifetime replacement warranty for the life of your device

one of my kids put a little 3/4" scratch on my ipad before I got that, and it actually made it indiscernible. cleans easier than the glass, too. and it's invisible when the device is on.

My tablet cost about $70. I was not going to spend almost half that on a screen protector.

I am resoaking one of them overnight and will try again.

You should soak it in cider.

You could invest in a nice microfiber cloth and just clean your screen from time to time.

(I had the guy at the AT&T store install the screen protector on my Android phone. Saved me a lot of hassle. They put them on all day long ... perfectly.

I don't get screen protectors. Don't allow metal to go scraping against your screen, and you don't need one.

On my old Ipod, the ear buds scratched the screen when they rode in the same pocket together. The screen was softer than a finger nail. Haven't bought an Ipod since. Pieces of shit.

What can I say, I'm from the "no glove, no love" generation.;)

Of course in this case if I didn't use protection and something went wrong, I wouldn't have to drop out of high school and work in a car wash to fix it.

Oh I get it, you're one of those 'abstinence only' people.:D

What can I say. I do love the feel of the naked iPad in my hands when I'm using it. But I do have a homemade sleeve that I keep it in when I'm not. It's a piece of jeans leg lined with fleece material.

I've had my iPad over a year and no scratches yet.

I just put tinting on the inside of my car windshield. I imagine it's a similar experience.
