My Mcafee say's my computer is infected with "Genetic Dropper.va.gen.g, I've scanned with Mcafee and anti malware but still get the dialog box stating the infections is still there.
Any ideas on how to shift the Bugger?.

In all honesty, I don't mess around with these things for very long before I just nuke the OS and reload from scratch. The take away is that I tell myself to browse more carefully from now on. That's about it. [COLOR="White"]. . . [/COLOR] Oh, one more thing, if you've been wise enough to not be using an ADMINISTRATOR account for every day purposes, just log on as an admin, rename your profile at My Computer/C/Documents and Settings/ from Example to OLD_Example, and never log back in to OLD_Example. Build a new user account and start over. It might not be able to follow you.

I'd give AVG Free and/or malwarebytes a shot at it.

If that doesn't get it, then I'd reformat and start over.

5 McAfee scans and 3 malware scans and finally got the bastatrd quarrantined every thing back to normal (i hope) :D
