Just found this site - seems pretty cool. Thought I'd share it.
Look how [SIZE="1"]small[/SIZE] the guy in the wind tunnel appears! And to think that this took place in 1931, almost 80 years ago, still amazes me.

They made stuff big in those days. Not like today. We try to make stuff small now.

Pshaw. That old one was 30'x60'

The modern equivalent.
The 80-by-120 foot test section is the world's largest wind tunnel and is capable of testing a full size Boeing 737 at velocities up to 100 knots.
