A post without the technical details - especially numbers - means he is lying.
me too, but I laughed at him, not with him.
Me-->:nadkick:<--Dish Network
And that's the truth.
I can't speak for the reliability or channel availability of DISH, but I've been very happy with my DirecTV.

Ditto that. I had Dish Network, but when they removed MSNBC from their "standard" offerings, I told 'em to take a hike. DirecTV RULES. Especially the free DVR...
Oh yeah. :cool:

Whoa. Pretty harsh. I know lots of people who are very happy with Dish Network.

But the ones that aren't, are louder. The ones that like it might mention it to a few friends, or say so if quizzed. People that don't like it will tell everyone.
Welcome to the Cellar, Space1202. :D
Another disgruntled Dish Network customer.
Quick story...
My daughter got ripped off by one of those Dish TV companies. Her payment crossed in the mail. They cancelled her service, told her she needed a $300 deposit to get it started again. She said "no." They took $500 out of her bank account (she used her bankcard as a guarantee) to hold as collateral until they received their equipment back.
Took about 6-8 months to get it all cleared up and her $500 back.
Never give you card info out as collateral. If, by chance, you do then call your bank and tell them you've lost your card and have the bank send you a new one with a new number.
I know it's not DISH, but:
New U-verse bundle, 3Mbps down/1Mbps up & saving $100 per month by dropping DirectTV.
