I'm liking the methods being developed by Nanoptek and Sun Catalytix. These don't involve the creation of any creepy GMOs.

If it works it is exactly what we need. I fear they are spruiking for investors and it doesn't yet, and maybe never will, work.

Kind of, but I find the logs keep getting jammed in the carburettor. Ethanol is better for that.

But, yeah, same principle - use carbon bonds to carry the energy, but take the carbon from the atmosphere rather than the Earth's crust.
