Say *someone* downloaded *something* using utorrent and when that *someone* tried to play that file, they got a message saying "downloading media usage rights", that never actually worked. They've probably tried several different media players to no avail.

That *someone* is probably pretty pissed off, because they may have had to download this thing 3 times and they might of basically spent 3 days friggin' round with it.

Might need some different codexes to run it. Have you tried VLC media player? It's free to download and works with more formats than Windows media player.

You really want to try VLC or MPlayer. However, you may want to look for that video again in a format other than WMV :)

That sounds like some digital media protection (WMV can do that). Like mbpark said, *someone* should look for it in a non-WMV format.

Ahhh, live n learn....no more WMVs for that person

They tried it on VLC, sound, no picture.

I think they were looking and found another torr and its all good now.

They thank you for your help :D
