And now, after seeing Office Space about 5 times, I finally decided to find out what a TPS Report is. :D

Greeeaaaat.;)

lol..I had no idea PC Load Letter was an actual term, just thought it was a made-up error message for the movie.

Does anyone else have a crush on Michael Bolton in Office Space ("why should I change my name? He's the one who sucks!")

Funny funny movie!
Dingleschmutz • May 8, 2008 12:00 pm
Nah, not really. He looks like Rick Moranis.

Oh, and I like women.

Speaking of him though, I think my favorite part of the movie is when he's blaring the rap music in his car until the brothas pull up next to him and he rolls up his window.
Shawnee123 • May 8, 2008 12:42 pm
He so does NOT look like Rick Moranis.

Office Space dude is a hawt sexy geeky nerd. Rick is a nawt-hawt geeky turd. Difference.

Ya' know, I never understood why LeetSpeak is considered ok.

A form of writing whereby some letters in a word are replaced by a numerical likeness or other letters that create an identical or similar sound.

Words used by people on aol and message boards which used to be nerdy now people use it to try and be funny when 83.7 times out of 100 they aren't.

Shawnee123 • May 8, 2008 2:40 pm
Ya' know, I never understood why anyone would write "ya' know." For one thing, "ya" is not a word; for another...the apostrophe to connote that the word is shortened in deference to a colloquialism is incorrect in this case...unless the word is actually "yar."

Buh-bye, buy bonds.

Oh, and I forgot to ask you to bite me, draxxy-waxxy-maxi-sweetums-pie. Get the fuck out of my thread, YA FREEEK UV NAYCHER!

Oh, forgive me if I'm just tryin' to type like I'm actually conversing with you.

Oh, forgive me if I'm just tryin' to type like I actually give a poo'.

Ah, so THIS is where the drama went down. Well *I* still think leetspeak is funny. But then again, I'm from Iowa, and according to South Park, we're two years behind everyone else.

But for the record, I wouldn't include "hawt" in the l33t lexicon, that's more like a junior high kind of "zomga, he's sooo hawt! freal!" thing. Speaking of, I heart you Shawnee.

I no it weren't l33t. Half the females in here have said hawt at one time or another. He's just a little instigator.

But I fart you too.
footfootfoot • May 8, 2008 4:18 pm
Umm, Shawnee, didn't you get the memo?
Shawnee123 • May 8, 2008 4:42 pm

when I am writing in an informal way to reflect the way I speak, I write "ya know"
Shawnee123 • May 8, 2008 5:21 pm
Good. Now, if you could just go ahead and come in on Sunday...that'd be great.

Maybe so, but if you are attempting to be "cute", I am not amused.

"I" "am" "cute" "there" "is" "no" "attempting" "about" "it."

"btw", why you "gotta" "BE" an "ASS" *&^^&^#$ I USED to be one of the few people who was nice to you. "wtf" was I thinking, ya know?

(I too use "ya know" but am not about to put the apostrophe on the end trying to look smart nor do I admonish others who use it.)

You really are a little fucktard, aren't you? :) :D   :right:

You started it. :lol2:

Shawnee123 • May 9, 2008 9:17 am
Then shouldn't it be y'a'? ;)
xoxoxoBruce • May 9, 2008 11:23 am
You'd never make it as a redneck.
Shawnee123 • May 9, 2008 11:31 am
lol! Don't be too sure!
Dingleschmutz • May 9, 2008 12:32 pm
While I have no doubt you'd be adept at warming Spaghetti-o's and producing umpteen offspring with Kool-Aid stained mouths if you chose to do so, I think Bruce was referring to the fact that you're debating where to put apostrophes in a made-up contraction. Rednecks are not aware of apostrophes.
