Knoppix on Usb

I gave it a shot using the info from here. Set to boot from USB and it tells me something like can't find kernel? I'll try again and get correct info. Playing with my self Santa 22" LCD.

Yes, I got your PM but it is best to answer on the forum; it may be that some others have suggestions for you also. Plus the fact that we all can learn.

OK. Here's what the PM was about.

I got the new LCD monitor, per suggestion by RH. Am happy with it. But think I need to adjust the colors, contrast for me. Does anyone know of a web site that'll put up a test pattern, like to adjust old TVs? Maybe new glasses are the answer? I'm getting old and belive if it ain't broke, don't fix it. My best learning experiences come from have to,and stupid mistakes. Thanks Ranchhand and please take this as a xmas joke. The hardware diagnostics that come with better computers (for free) also provide such diagnostic viewing patterns. Try your video controller manufacturer. Sometimes (rarely) they have those video diagnostics. Even the original IBM PC had such diagnostic video patterns with the diagnostic software.
