Anny ho , there was some discussion about converting vinal records to digital music ,

That's the problem with cds, they don't have any of those scratchy sounds, like the wind in the rigging, it's part of the experience.

On the other hand, I'm up to 1000 songs on the ipod and it fits in my pocket. It'll still fit in my pocket when it's got 7500 songs in it. Can't really say the same for vinyl.

Depends on the pocket, now, doesn't it.

I open up my email today from amazon to check my order confirmation and the sleazy rat fuckers substituted my ittusb for a dj direct drive unit. when I went to change my order I find the usb turntable outof stock.

Actually glad. I did some research and found that many people say the ion product is a cheap knock off of a brand called Numark.

Back to the drawing board. I have a turntable, so I'll look for software and a preamp.

Software is easy. It's called Audacity, and it's free.
