From the way too much free time department

From http://www.ballofpaint.freehosting.net/

"Imagine an ordinary baseball...Now imagine that same baseball with coat after coat after coat of paint. Getting the picture? Good, because that's exactly what my wife, Glenda and I have done for the past 25 years. Now that ordinary baseball that once weighed less than one pound now weighs 515 pounds!"

"That's right, 515 pounds with a circumferance of 83.5 inches and still growing to this very day. This ball is truely remarkable with 14,710 coats of paint on it to this day!"

I wonder what it feels like. I imagine all that paint would make it a little soft, unless they used enamel or something.
It would also be cool if they painted a baseball schema on it.
