6/18:2004: Surfing dog
Happy Friday! I wish I'd saved some detail from this one, but none of the details seemed important; the point is, the little guy actually is surfing. I've seen other dogs surfing on four legs, and a week ago, elsewhere on the Cellar, I posted a video of a bulldog skateboarding (and steering!). So there's no question but that it can be done... but here's guessing the photographer managed to get lucky by capturing him on two legs and with his forepaws outstretched just like a real surfer's would be. Good work, that! |

I'm assuming this is what dogs do on vacation after their hit TV series (Frasier) comes to an end. "Hang 10 Baby"

Good one, UT. He's probably sitting down because his butt is puckered to the board.

Do you HONESTLY think that dog is enjoying that? It looks like he's harnessed to the board to me. I seriously doubt if he drags that board out there and just jumps on it.

I can imagine he hops on the board and barks exitedly, waiting to be hooked up and towed out.

Dogs love people stuff. Why do you think they hang out with us?

Got me there bruce, but I did admit it.
OK, here's the funny part....I opened up this thread after it was bumped by OC, read the post about newbies/whining, thought hee hee, right on dude, THEN realized it was my post. Wild. Gotta love that short term memory thing. Quote:
