The clitoris is a mostly-internal organ that can be up to 9 centimeters long. I've owned one for decades, and I had no idea. |

, that article you link says that it exists solely for pleasure. I don't think that strictly true is it? I thought it was basically a tiny little penis. Doesn't pee come out of that thing?

I think the urethra is technically a separate tube resting on top. But it's possible the nerve bundle may have evolved to be so sensitive specifically so that we would know when pee was or wasn't coming out.

The urethra lies posterior to the clitoris and fairly separate from it. There's no functional connection between the two.

Damn, I was hoping I could have an orgasm if I just peed hard enough.

I watched a programme once (an opener which stands alongside "Just hold my beer" in terms of intelligence) which showed that the contraction of the muscles caused the cervix to open slightly during clitoral orgasm. It was posited that the physical affect of orgasm would ensure more sperm reached the uterus. Haven't seen or read anything about this since. But it was an interesting idea.

All I can really say on this topic of the clitoris is: I like the clitoris. I'm a fan.

I think I should have a sponsored celibacy/ no-flicking-the-bean-athon. You know, like for charity. Like for charity, but in fact just for me. Pay me for every day I don't think about you and touch myself. I'm so sad I've lost my sex drive. Surely someone, somewhere should be compensating me? "Had an accident that wasn't your fault?" "Been mis-sold PPI?" "Haven't had sex for so long you're worried about being cobwebby?" You know what I mean.

I'm feeling a strong desire to study this, in depth.
