OMG!

!!!!

I have no idea what I could possibly have done to deserve a Dalek visit...

I will, I promise take pics and post them. But if I take out the camera now Pilau will get upset and slink off to avoid having his pic taken, and he's soooo comfy-cosy on the sofa right now:p

Anyway: Here's how it went down.

The postman knocked on my door this morning wanting me to sign for a largish box. It appeared from the picture to be a Tefal Kettle...

"Not mine" says I. I hadn't ordered anything from Tefal.
"Your address" he points out. And he was right, it was addressed to me.

Curiouser and curiouser.

Got it inside and and opened it up to find:

A radio controlled Dalek!

No note. I searched the outside of the box and found a clue!

Limey you totally rock. I don't know what to say. Thankyou and thankyou again.

lol

I forget that people outside of Britain might not know what a Dalek is. Over here, even someone who has never seen a single episode of Doctor Who will know what a Dalek is and what a Tardis is.

Seriously, I've stayed at home since I read that post....

Okay, lie!

Limey, major props to you. What a star.
Dani - how exciting!
And of course you know what I'm going to say......

No, no, no.

This thing moves about. We need video of Dana being attacked by daleks (well only one, but still).

Forgot to say, cool idea limey. It was fun just reading Dana's post.

Dana, it turned up in the local charity shop soon after we met up in Glasgow, and I've been looking for a way to pack it for the post ever since! When you're fed up with it, just pass it on and spread the joy!
Glad you like it

Given how much Dana likes Dr. Who, I'm guessing that's never.

I need a tea kettle. I am disappointed that one of us didn't get one.

I know, no dalek.

I'm not a Dr Who fan, but being sent a dalek, now THAT is exciting (and I really mean it).
