Yep, I even grew the eggs. Well, my chickens did. TY, Bri. Glad you liked 'em. Thanks for sharing your tootsie pops tonight. No maryjane, though the "hippie prof" and his class did joke about it. I assured them that the only secret ingredient was luuuuuv. Hey Bri, do you know a guy named Ash? Long hair and beard? Funny guy. Made some great vegetarian chili. |

I don't think I know a guy named Ash...but there was a vegetarian dude in my ASL class. TOTALLY worth PM'ing Juni for the brownies. They were the BEST brownies I've ever had. Fo' Shizzel.

Oh do, I just got a new baking pan from pampered chef! Are there walnuts in it? Last weekend, out of the blue, my mom gives a big old bag of walnuts. Seems fate wants me to make some brownies.

You can put nuts in it. I did. They were delish. Ok, here's the recipe. It's straight from the Hershey's website, not like I invented it or anything. Hershey's Best Brownies Ingredients: * 1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine * 2 cups sugar * 2 teaspoons vanilla extract * 4 eggs * 3/4 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa or HERSHEY'S SPECIAL DARK Cocoa * 1 cup all-purpose flour * 1/2 teaspoon baking powder * 1/4 teaspoon salt * 1 cup chopped nuts(optional) Directions: 1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 13x9x2-inch baking pan. 2. Place butter in large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at MEDIUM (50%) 2 to 2-1/2 minutes or until melted. Stir in sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well with spoon after each addition. Add cocoa; beat until well blended. Add flour, baking powder and salt; beat well. Stir in nuts, if desired. Pour batter into prepared pan. 3. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Frost if desired. Cut into bars. About 36 brownies. |

BTW, Bri, have you ever had the "Killer Brownies" at Dorothy Lane Market? Yum yum! We used to have scout leader meetings at DLM and I'd bring home one of these, and split it 4-ways with my family, they are THAT good and THAT rich. ::sigh::
