Talking College Football

The College football season is just around the corner and there should be some upsets, considering defending national champion Miami Hurricanes lost 6 starters in the first round alone of the NFL draft, hey anything can happen!... here's how TSN ranks 'em

1. Oklahoma
2. FSU
3. Texas
4. Miami
5. Georgia
6. Washington State
7. Tennessee
8. Florida
9. Colorado
10. Ohio State

It's sure to be a great season with some memorable games including...

FSU @ Miami Oct. 12
Oklahoma @ Texas Oct. 12
Texas @ Nebraska Nov. 2
Miami @ Tennessee Nov. 9

Personally I don't like OU, and would love to see some upsets along the way!

Miami(4), Ohio State(10), Marshall(14), and Michigan State(23) are my preseason hopefulls headed for the National Championships at the Fiesta Bowl!

(though i believe it will be FSU & Texas) GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!

I don't follow it as much as I used to...I mainly keep tabs on my favorite teams--Missouri, Maryland, and Illinois. And since Temple is 2 steps from being booted out of the Big East, I may go to a few of their games this year.

Temple Home Games

Well, if 83rd ranked (of 117) Temple is all you got consider yourself lucky!... sure they may not win many in the Big East, but they've got home games against Oregon State (Sept. 7), MIAMI (Sept. 14), Syracuse (Oct. 12), and Boston College (Nov. 23) to keep you entertained. Quite a schedule they may not look forward to, but you certainly can... enjoy the games.

P.S. keep an eye on DT Dan Klecko (6'1 276lbs Sr.) and WR Sean Dillard (5'10 175lbs Sr.) they should be 2 bright spots on an otherwise depleted squad.

You gotta like underdogs though.

Why they play half their home games at the Vet is beyond me. They're moving to Lincoln Financial Field with the Eagles next year. They never draw that many people to a game. They should have either kept their old stadium, or should play all their games over at Franklin Field (Univ. of Penn.). Or drop to I-AA.
