Sorry to hear about your head. One comedian playing off other people for cheap laughs can do a lot of memetic damage.

Joan Roughharden may have been... I think I may have heard of that book on some news show. Maybe not TV, though.

It's nothing to do with TG in general, just the specific case of a guy pretending to be a girl saying "I'm a lady, let's talk about ladies' things!" The eagerness and phrasing was similar.
