We were the Lambkins. While in high school, our mascot actually showed up on Letterman's list of top ten wimpiest mascots. That was a high point.

Walking across the huge open field in the center of all the dorms, in the middle of the night, I discovered that our college mascot was a scary pirate with a giant head. A "Marauder". Almost had to use my rape whistle...

I had a Leprechaun in 1st thru 8th, Wolf from 9th thru 12th grade, Artie the Artichoke my college Freshman and sophomore, and finally Sparky the Sun Devil college junior and senior year.
The Artichoke mascot was because the students were forced to choose a mascot and did it to spite the administration of Scottsdale Community College. I have a plush Artie the Artichoke magnet on my fridge that is pretty neat. |
