The point to wars is that people don't have to be civil and can have more fun.

Here Here, agreed. I am now so close to 50 that a lot of this mortality shit is getting inside my head seemingly all the time. It is really harshing my mellow. I find myself feeling tired more, in pain more, stressed more ... ugghhh. and then I add to that the What happens to Dan after I die and all that shit. I'm doing my best to avoid it as thats the only thing which seems to help right now (temporarily at least)

I need to get out more. See Mr. Sun more. Play more disc golf and get some exercise.

My #1) was to stop smoking and I did. I am a nonsmoker.
My new #1) is to lose weight ... WTF??? I gained like 15 lbs since between Jan-Mar. I've kept it at that since. but at 185 I feel like shit all the time. I lost my flexibility and my skin feels weird like is fat or thick or or or I dunno. I've never been this way before.
Anyway, I'd also like to say that your sig line has been a motto of mine since first reading it.

My morning stretch has been getting more and more elaborate. Working with an unpleasant person literally gives me a stiff neck, so its important that I keep up with it. I used to just do exercise to shed weight but "when we get to a certain age," we have to watch portions. I think I'm going to buy my first scale...

Dan adds a complicating factor to you growing older, I wish you and him the best as you figure it out.

See Mr Blue Sky too (ELO).
I did that yesterday.
Sat in the park, in the shade and was pleased with what ever else the world was pleased with.

I've always walked Ever since I was a child.
No, seriously, it's the exercise I've always enjoyed and I've never had to pay for and it achieves more than one objective.

But you know what?
It's got so much bloomin' easier!
I'm not hefting around 17 stone 10*.
Walking down to big Tesco is not a chore. Were I buying a weeks groceries then I would still need to take a shopping trolley. But the walk there and back is nothing.
I doubt I'm any fitter than I was, but it's just all that much more pleasant.

* that's 248 lbs
I am now 182
Not a lightweight by any means, but minus four stone ten makes a real difference.
