I'm being a smartass but I was also farm raised so if it became hunger vs named creature... Children are the stumbling block always naming my potential food but once the kids are out in the world, I'm hoping to raise and eat more unnamed meat.

Mechanical pencils. You need lots because they're always disappearing.

Pens, pencils, lighters, and hair doodles migrate.

I could. Really.

I have and very occasionally do smoke, but I've been a non-smoker for the majority of my life. And even I know that lighters migrate. When I was a barmaid, when the majority of my friends smoked, when my gas cooker has a dicky clicker.... I've always carried lighters.

The one I have managed to keep the longest ironically exposes me. It's a Rokerij promotional lighter. I use it to light candles and incense, but even those are not allowed in my room, so it mostly lives downstairs.

Luckily, the 'rents have no idea that the Rokerij is an Amsterdam coffeeshop (link NSFW for obvious reasons, also music starts automatically)

BTW - don't think that just because I only use a lighter for candles and incense, or because I can only do it downstairs, that my lighters are safe. No, I've had about four go missing in the same time period.

Little soft tinsel ball cat toys.

Its funny how they like to disappear. I have one left and it likes to go on vacation for a few weeks and then unexpectedly show up. I need more for Turbo but cant find them anymore. Someone here linked to them but of course I cant find the thread.

I find myself agreeing muchly in this thread - it seems I've lost everything including my marbles.

Those sparkly cat balls - yes!
I get them free when I buy a Yeowww! cat toy - and from being in the same packaging they are doubly irresistible. Trouble is, they get scooted under and into things that even in Mum's pristine house are rarely investigated. So when we find them they have lost some of their punch.

A bottomless supply would be wonderful though.

I'm still running into some of Tajjy's (RIP baby girl) 'babies'...tiny hairy fake mice...in various spots around the house.

And Gaines unearthed an old catnip pillow thing I haven't seen in forever.
