Presumably Mr. Snail didn't stay on slat 2 forever. I wonder how many times he had to make that "leap"? And did he make it every time?

if that's the kind of snail i think it is it can't be eaten. they are all over ca... french brought them over to eat but brought the wrong ones. thus my grudge against the french.
