Try lithium. It's worked wonders for my friend. Maybe it wouldn't work for you, but knowing what she's been through and assuming your situation is similar, I know she was willing to try anything to put some perspective back in her life.

That's what my Ex takes. Along with Clonopin (sp.?) and something else. It works for his Bi-Polar disorder too. When he doesn't wash them down with a gallon of wine anyway.

Yeah...my friend goes a bit nutty when she drinks if she's out of her comfort zone. All the paranoia comes back and it can take her a long while to settle down if she's not in the right environment.
