Bri bugged me over and over to ban her before the 24-hour timeout I encouraged, so I've done it.

WTF? I mean seriously WTF?

I take a day off to watch footsballs and ... what the heck happened?

General knowledge question: why should anyone ask to be banned? Is this a Hotel California sort of forum, or - well, why would I not just cancel my subscription myself if I wanted to go?

I think it's a willpower issue. Like an alcoholic asking someone to lock up the liquor cabinet.

Bri was being very sweet in the last posts I read - usually she goes loco before she asks to be banned.

I can understand you're only acceding to her wishes UT, but an idea of why she was asking would help the rest of us. If it's all PM I get why you can't.
