Sometimes they are quite right, right as rain, right on target, in the right, right on the money and of course might makes right; however, the pen is mightier than the sword. Righteous!

Whatever the fatuous phrase, correctness usually happens politically; or, after a few drinks. Sometimes women lose their husbands to corrections. (I hope he will be alright!) Some expressions are less common in print: Righty-O!,

All euphemisms conceal how we gasp and choke-up when someone else appears to be more right than ourselves.
