In order to fully comprehend this thread I have to ask El Veto-Voter which freedoms have specifically been taken.

As a plainly outrageous example, did the Federal Government require you to quarter troops in your residence without your consent?

Or was it more subversive: to use a less unlikely example, did statements by public officials make you personally afraid of publicly stating your opinion?

Ignoring an obvious one -

... the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.

Scalia said the Constitution does not grant right of privacy. So yes, which rights (or freedoms) are on this list?
