Blueberries, peas, kale lettuce romanesco, onions, garlic, tomatoes, rosemary, thyme, fava beans, and probably a few more.

Great hobby, lots of fresh air and sunshine, exercise, healthy produce as a reward, and Zucchini to annoy cow orkers and neighbors with. Back to our agricultural roots, reconnecting with the soil, nature, the weather and other living creatures in the dirt and air.

aside: I recently discovered that DC and Cape May are on the same parallel.

However those who don't have the room or inclination can still have the garden experience, they can do the Cliff's Note version.
