Never mind dodgy videos and fake photographs, here's the real thing.

Pupils at Bierton Combined School had an unusual start to their week when they arrived at school on Monday morning and found an alien spaceship had crash-landed on their school field.

Police and fire officers attended to investigate the scene but the source of the spaceship has not yet been discovered.

Assistant headteacher Hannah Brunning said: “There has been an incredible buzz around the school.

“The children have been doing pieces of writing about it and they really have been inspired by it.”

The children have their own theories on what happened with one saying: “I thought some naughty aliens had accidentally crashed into our school field.

“They’ve been wandering around our school and left footprints.”

Interestingly, that's the county I live in. And with a population of 0.8 people per square mile, I was thinking maybe I'd recognize the voice. And yes, about 1/3 of the people around here have an accent JUST LIKE THAT. Heh.

To me, it looked like the moon behind a bunch of swinging tree branches, but now I'm curious enough to look up to see if it had ever been analyzed.
