I guess it's about what you are first exposed to. In my mind, the very best cheese steak came from Wright's deli in Eagle PA.... Which has been gone for 20 years now.
It was a pizza steak. A regular cheese steak, but with mozzarella and pizza sauce all mixed in. Gooey to the point that chewing was largely unnecessary. I was happy to spend my allowance on one.

Maybe that's partially because we had to ride our bicycles for 45 minutes to get there, and the adventure aspect enhanced the experience.... But I've yet to match the bliss encountered on those summer days.

Treated myself to a jacket potato and cheese yesterday.
Not the best example of its kind, but it filled a hole and gave me the energy I needed.

I won't go to that place again though. Should have been suspicious when it was the only one of the many cafes we have in Otley which had a free seat...

MMmm. I haven't had a loaded baked potato in a long time. I may have to add that in soon.

It was supposed to be bang bang shrimp, but I waited too long to clean the shrimp. Now, I am stuck with just the sauce.....and a trip to the store in the future.

Did that turn out for you? I made the same recipe, but it looked nothing like that.

Fried fish, Mac and cheese, and cauliflower. Sound familiar? It's what I had for dinner yesterday

The cauliflower makes a nice plate decoration... just be careful not to eat it by mistake.
