Griff, your trip and pics are very enticing
... I particularly liked that morning/evening view of the same scene. But I'm surprised there's no evidence of biting bugs. Your pics did remind me of those I made back in the 70's when my family was on back-packing vacations in the Canadian Rockies. If family members were in one of my pic's, they most always were seen from their backside, because I was the one carrying the camera and usually the straggler in the group. I now wish I had made a run-around to get people coming towards me on the trails, or given the camera over to our dog who was most always out front. |

Looks like you had a good time there, sir. Normally I'd be jelly, but we (Amanda & I)
were up in Jim Thorpe doing much the same thing this week... She has pictures on her camera of a really cool Turtle, and a Bald Eagle eating a fish. I'll try to get them from her on Sunday.
