People are saying the icon is adware or nagware and I suppose it is; but if you want it, and you have Win 7 SP1, Win 8 or 8.1, turn on Windows Updates.
It does allow us to reserve a free copy of Win 10 and that is a fair deal It was a Windows Update that installed this icon/nagware/Win 10 reservation system... which is not really all that trustworthy... but it's 2015 and there you go. Everyone else has turned our devices and Internet services into payload for ads or paid services, so why not mother Microsoft? |
