There were a couple conversations going on the god thread. It was interesting but then it got insulting... Grav actually wrote a pretty good defense of his thinking. <shrug>

Gravdigr tried to call out Pico and ME for being elitist or arrogant or something, and then was insulted when I pointed out that Pico and ME wasn't saying what Gravdigr thought.

And it sounds like you may be reading my use of "immature brains" the same way Gravdigr read Pico and ME's. For clarity's sake, I would like to mention that I was using the phrase in the same way that Clodfobble was - a brain not capable of understanding everything in the universe, in other words a human brain.

Where did it get insulting? I kinda thought that Grav telling me I was going to hell was somewhat insulting. But that is just his belief, so I wasn't didn't take it personally. But somehow expressing my belief is not only insulting, but militant?

Pico, the handbasket is getting pretty full, if you are sure you are not going to hell then we'd like to give your seat to someone else. If it turns out you actually are going to hell and we've given your seat to someone else, then you'll have to wait for the next handbasket. (and all the cool people won't be on that one, just so you know)
