There were so many memorable scenes, and the characters were so much fun. Lots of highlights for me, but my favorite scene in the whole movie is when they are having a meeting, going over the serious plan for the final climactic battle, and Chris Pratt asks Drax some question about an important detail of the plan, and Drax was like "Huh? I was just thinking about something else." Not paying attention at all.

It's such a stupid little thing, but so genuine, because it reminds me of so many meetings where I find myself thinking about some stupid fleeting thought instead of paying attention.

It was completely trivial to the plot, and they moved right along, not lingering on it, but it was so genuine. The movie was full of lines like that. It made me wonder how a movie like that gets made. I'm sure everyone that makes a movie wants that movie to be good. But there is some special magic that occurs in some movies, and not in others.

You could take that exact same line and stick it in another movie, and it would seem stupid. But here, it was great.
