GMO Corn No Longer Resistant to Pests

Ortho, you can say "Fuck you very much" if you please. You are certainly entitled to your beliefs, and you seem like you have knowledge on this subject. However, you are coming across as if your thoughts on the matter are paramount, and that those disagreeing are foolish.

I have degrees in psychology and management, and was...*thinks*...2 or 3 classes shy of a biology minor. I am a skeptic...when I see stories that trumpet the latest claims of research, I immediately think about who funded the study, independent variables, statistical significance, etc.

I am also conscious of what I put into my body. I'm not a food purist, but more conscious than most folks.

When I look at the research on GMO, it appears to be generally supportive...and not just by scientists on the dole for Monsanto. Do I worry about GMO stuff? Absolutely...and we are seeing some issues as brought up by Bruce. But I also believe in science.

If you would like a genuine discussion on this, that would be swell. Otherwise, fuck YOU very much.

Actually, I'd enjoy a genuine discussion on the topic; but first, I owe you an apology, elSicomoro. I was out of line in my last post to you. I hope we can discuss things cordially in future. No more demands re education and no more 'fuck you very much'.

Sometimes it's hard to remember a fact/truth is often temporary, the best you can do is stay informed of the latest consensus by the experts.
That's especially hard for students barraged with information/facts which their immediate future depends on knowing.
Something's true only until someone demonstrates it's not, rather something else is true.
Of course other people have to confirm it, but truths fall by the wayside all the time.
