I don't get people smiling for mug shots. If I were ever in the position to have a mug shot taken, I'd be bawling my face off probably, and my eyes would be all swollen and red and I'd have snot running out of my nose.

Here's a mug shot of a guy who was wanted in the disappearance of a woman and her 4 year old son (both presumed dead.) It's a mug shot from an earlier offense, because this dude is now dead. When police closed in on him he shot himself.. I guess he'll have no more need for his "bad motherfucker" wallet.

This woman was arrested in Polk County, Florida, on weapons charges of shooting a “missile” into “an occupied vehicle.” The report didn't say if it was an anti-tank weapon, or a bottle rocket.
Her name is, Crystal Metheney, I shit you not.
